Please, read and pass it on. This is my dream to do this.

Running Into Home Pre-Pitch:
Tired of seeing movies where the dorky guy gets the gorgeous girl, and the gorgeous guy gets the gorgeous girl.
What if Hollywood made a movie where that above average-sized girl gets the gorgeous guy. Well, actually the gorgeous guy pursues the above average-sized girl.
I spent the past few weeks, and many, many hours writing what could be the turning point of Hollywood’s female love interest. With the influence of the incredible Melissa McCarthy, Adele, and so many other above average woman in the media, I figured we need to tap more into the normalcy of us in love in cinema.
What if there was movie that wouldn’t have to poke fun into our size? Yeah, there are points where people tease my female character about her size. She doesn’t let her get to her. She knows she can’t change herself to please people. She accepts. She doesn’t have to make it a point that she’s different. I want to make this special character shine through with her tenacity and maturity to have already overcome her bullies. But she has to overcome her heart in wanting to love again.
I want to have my characters show how abnormally normal life really is. We have our curvy female lead. Her adorably protective daughter. The gruff and kind father. The former playboy who wants to win our curvacious lady’s heart back. His brother, still reluctant to come out to his boozy and frisky parents. The brother’s normally calm officer boyfriend who doesn’t take shit from idiots.
My dream is for this to take flight. I have children that I teach everyday not to judge a book by it’s cover, all the time. Plus, that cover can be still beautiful if it’s 100 pages or 300 pages long.
I already have who I would want to portray my characters in mind and who would be awesome to direct, if dreams to come true. That’s why I’m hoping I can get this hyped up enough in time for the Toronto International Film Festival in September. My ideal director premiers his directorial debut at TIFF and I’d die to win a chance to pitch this to him. He has the integrity and sincerity that can lift this off the ground.
So, please read. Fingers crossed that y’all like and share.

recently, i tried the mystery vox box set sent by influenster canada. a couple days ago, it was revealed to be the new garnier fructis hair care line. i was shocked.
i’ve tried garnier fructis a couple times in the past. not bad, but didn’t do justice to my frizz-prone, coloured hair. after using the mystery vox box set, i was enthralled with how my hair was so soft, even after blow drying. i couldn’t stop playing with it. plus, the scent was magnificent.
over a week later, i was really surprised that there was a box from garnier at my doorstep. i honestly thought it was a l’oreal product because of the labels on the mystery products. but i was totally wrong, in a good way.
garnier has garnered my attention and my future shopping for hair products. i full-heartedly, recommend this line for anyone who needs a hair pick-me-up. you will love it as much as i do.
